About
Applied science for Colombian water and territory
Founded in Barranquilla in 2017, with the river as our working ground
Tarulla Ingeniería e Investigación S.A.S. was born from a simple conviction: water behaves according to laws that can be measured, modelled and anticipated. What is usually missing is enough information to decide.
Since then the firm has built up contracts certified in Colombia’s Single Bidder Registry for private companies and public bodies, with studies that hold up before the environmental authority and in the field.
Its distinguishing mark is the combination of scientific rigour and practical application: the team brings together engineers with doctoral training and field specialists who operate high-precision measurement equipment.

Four principles that define our work
Technical and methodological rigour
We do not improvise. Every analysis follows validated scientific protocols: reproducible, auditable results built on real evidence.
Our own measurement technology
Acoustic profilers, GNSS RTK, LiDAR, multibeam bathymetry and modelling software. The quality of the data determines the quality of the decision.
Diagnostics that lead to decisions
A good analysis does not end in a report: it ends when the client understands what to do and why. We translate technical complexity into judgement.
Ethics before contracts
If a project exceeds our technical capacity or compromises the objectivity of the analysis, we do not take it. We say what the client needs to know.
A team that measures, models and interprets
Technical direction
Engineers with doctoral and master’s training in water resources and numerical modelling.
Field specialists
Surveyors, bathymetry technicians and operators of acoustic equipment and drones for river and wetland campaigns.
Geoinformation and territory
GIS analysts, cartographers and social professionals who integrate physical and territorial evidence.
